Thank you for visiting Radiant Blooms! My name is Elle Conwell and I'm the owner and lead designer of Radiant Blooms. I’m passionate about design, and flowers are my art form. Of all occasions, wedding flowers are my favorite. On your special day, I enjoy bringing your personal style to life through personalized wedding flowers. From the types of flowers to the color palette, I select each detail and ensure your unique vision is represented. I believe that ordering flowers is more than purchasing a product. Flowers are incredibly personal and sentimental, it is a collaboration of ideas between us. My talents help me advise you to select the best flowers to convey your emotions and ideas.

I began my career in the fashion industry. Those years of visual merchandising and customer service developed my eye for color and enjoyment of collaborating with others. I learned how to recognize peoples’ wants and interpret their visions, bringing ideas to life. To this day I enjoy working with clients to determine what their style and ideal wedding florals are. Designing and arranging your coveted wedding flowers is incredibly satisfying.
My obsession with flowers began at a young age. Every birthday my dad would send me roses and throughout childhood my mom would leave me notes from "garden fairies" named Azalea, Tulip, and Daisy. I have always loved design and working with my hands. While living in North Carolina, I stumbled across a flower shop and began my career as a florist. I was immediately drawn to the limitless options of arrangements. Flowers are beautiful on their own, but when designed together you get to play with texture, color, and more. It's a designer's dream come true. The number of things you can do with flowers is limitless.
After returning to San Diego, I worked at a local flower shop that allowed me to continue to develop my skills and better my knowledge of the wedding industry. While working, my love for wedding and events florals grew. My best friend asked me to arrange her wedding flowers which solidified my desire to create my own company.

Our Approach
Just as no wedding or event is the same, no two wedding flowers are the same. We do not sell pre-designed wedding packages but instead create custom designs and itemized floral options for each client. We want your wedding flowers to meet your expectations, match your design style, and fit with your wedding venue. Some brides come to us knowing what style they desire and others are unsure. Either way we will help you by providing design planning and consultation as well as full service florals for your big day.
Fun Facts
My golden retriever "Dixie" can always be found by my side, especially on design days. After receiving the award of employee of the month for the entirety of 2023 she has recently been promoted to project supervisor.
My husband Doug has been my number one fan, supporting Radiant Blooms from the beginning. We both love time in the ocean and spend almost all of our free time at the beach.
My favorite flower is the torch ginger. Unfortunately this bloom cannot be shipped to California, so for now I enjoy these flowers while visiting Hawaii and admire those island florists who constantly incorporate it into their designs.
